Mandy’s cookie party is now a permanent annual event! Check out her adorable invitations, and be sure to check in next week for the event’s recap.
For the invitation, Mandy was able to find a bucket, yes, bucket of cookie cutters at Hobby Lobby. The best part? They were 50% off. We designed the card and printed it on Opal Metallic Cardstock.
To affix the card to the cookie cutter, we punched a ⅛” hole and tied it on with our red/white baker’s twine. Mandy had some extra boxes and rafia from a past project -- they worked perfectly for this invitation. The invitations were tied up using 2” double-sided satin ribbon. She was able to hand deliver most of them, but for those that needed to be mailed, she slipped them into padded envelopes and dropped them off at the post office.
What’s your favorite part of the invitation? The red ribbon, cookie cutter or other detail? Let us know in the comments below.
